We'd love to have you sing with us!
Due to the transient nature of the military community in Newport, membership in the chorus is constantly changing. Come be one of the more than 2000 people who have sung with the Choristers to date!
Auditions?
We do not hold auditions! While some previous musical experience is helpful, it is definitely not required. If you fit our membership criteria and like to sing, come join us!
Who can join?
Membership is open to active duty, reserve, and retired military personnel (both officer and enlisted) of ALL the armed services and their dependents age 16 or over, as well as Department of Defense civilian employees and their dependents.
Performances?
There are two or three concerts in early December, one in mid-March and one in mid-May. All performances benefit local non-profit organizations. Attend a concert to support the community and check us out.

When can I join?
The Choristers welcome new singers in September, January and March.
We will begin rehearsals on JANUARY 9th for our Spring concert!

When/Where are rehearsals?
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from September to mid-May from 1900 to 2130 in room 100, Perry Hall (Bldg. 440), Naval Station Newport. Singers may join for all or part of the concert season.

We sing a wide variety of music including pop, classic, oldies, naval standards, and more.
